Ski Biskit Crackerbox boat

I found this old picture recently on eBay.

Appears to be an old Cracker Box boat named

"Ski Biskit"

I would put this in the late 40's early 50's and probably

running an old flat head.

Recently sold in the Seattle, Washington area ---- 13.6 ft.

This boat was set up with a small block Ford eng.

This has got to be one of the rarest Cracker Box 

boat models I have seen.

It's 14 1/2" long...

I went over to the Long Beach Convention Center

Boat show and parked there was the P-94 Cracker Box.
I think this boat is outstanding!!!!

Spoke with Chuck ( owner ) who stated it was a 

new build Cracker.  He was very pleasant to talk

with and mentioned the races are coming up in 3 weeks.

There is a link on Youtube with a camera mounted 
on the deck and the boat testing on the water --- fun!!

Boat is not raced and sports a 392 Chrysler Hemi.

By 1955, most Crackers were running the small
block chevy engine. Flathead boats were not
usually very common after 1955 as they were not
that competitive against the bigger motor.

Cracker Box "Hot Ice" 1958

Carl Maginn's Crackerbox was national champ two years
in a row in competition with a Dodge V-8. For drags,
Carl switched to an injected Chrysler and shares top
boat drag time with Randy Ramos at 97.71 mph. Three
shots above show boat starting off, accelerating, then
flat out. Boat holds 13.10 e.t.
